Qualifications:

  • Good time management, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Five years Programming in C/C++, perl, python
  • Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, Socks, and routing protocols
  • Hands-on experience with networking driver architecture for either Windows (NDIS, TDI) or Linux/Unix (DLPI, etc)
  • knowledge of kernel structures and memory management is desirable
  • Integration and security experience with System Management tools (BMC, IBM Tivoli, CA, HP OpenView, Microsoft Operations Manager, Mercury)
  • CISSP, CCNA, GIAC, and/or CCDA preferred
Work Experience:
  • Experience a plus with: Linux, Cisco CSS, Cisco VPN, RSA SecureID, F5 BigIP, SQL Server 2000, Foundry devices, Blackberry Service, EMC SANs
  • Hands on experience with LINUX/UNIX, WinNT/2000/XP
  • Hands on experience with Tor, onion routing, freeNet, proxies, and other privacy tools and networks
  • Experience using and developing p2p technologies and protocols
  • Experience working in R & D environment (University Preferred)
