Mark, Founder - CCNA, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC

Mark has 14+ years of security experience in a variety of fields including healthcare, supercomputing, aerospace, software, and consulting. Having founded a small software company later sold to an un-named large, evil company in the Northwest, he went on to found Harrison & Belmont. He is a strong believer of privacy and free speech, he has been a pioneer in the field of IDS/IPS and open source tools. When not writing a proposal or working in the lab, he can be scene at various events including Whitehats, Blackhats, DefCon, RSA, and CanSec West among others.

Tom, Co-Founder - CCNA, CISSP

Tom has 10 years expertise in network security and enterprise firewall's. Having worked at several firewall companies, he also has worked in developing virtual private network applications. Tom strives to study and analyze attack techniques and exploits down to the packet level. He also has a background in Perl, and has worked extensively in Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris. He has supported, troubleshooted and maintained 200+ VPN connections for corporations. Past applications include tools used for "firewalking" past a firewall, and several scripts used for testing the security and packet filtering of firewall's. When not tinkering with the latest and greatest in routing and firewall technology, he can occasionally be scene speaking at various security events about the linux kernel and stateful packet filtering.

Henry, Security Engineer - CCNA, CISSP

Henry has expertise in system analysis/integration and high-availability architectures. He has specialized experience in mail infrastructure and Web server clustering, with additional practice in database replication. He also has a background in programming with Perl, PHP, and Python, which greatly simplifies his workload of system administration. Henry has worked extensively on Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and Solaris operating systems. Henry has been the lead systems engineer for a Fortune 500 companies Production Operations Group, where he supervised the overall service availability of over 700 servers in a heterogeneous and geographically separated production environment. His previous company was among the top 10 in media metrics for unique Web visitors. This translates to 24 million unique visitors per month. When not running the NOC and troubleshooting protocol issues, he can be found traveling Napa Valley, looking for the perfect bottle of wine to compliment his cellar.

Kevin, Security Engineer - CCNA, MCSE

Kevin has extensive experience working with Cisco hardware and routing. He is currently working on his Phd in computer science. Before going back to school, he was working full time managing 3000+ VPN connections for a large consulting firm in Manhattan, NY. His experience working with VPN technology and PKI is invaluable. He is a strong advocate of Open Source tools, and when not working can be found helping out with various projects on sourceforge.
